However, the current price tag of $16.79 is only until September 26th since its on sale as of right now. On the 26th of September the price is expected to jump to $20 which will make many people want to purchase this RPG classic before then.
It’s been a very long time since Shenmue II was released for game consoles such as Dreamcast and Xbox. Since the early 00’s fans of the series have been waiting for a sequel to Shenmue II. However, the sales for Shenmue II for both Dreamcast and the original Xbox console was not too good which is probably why Sega decided not to make a sequel. Despite, what the sales were for Shenmue II there were still many die hard fans of the series who wanted to see another game one way or another.
As of right now Shenmue III is set to be released for the PS4 and Microsoft Windows. But the question that is one everyone’s mind is whether or not Shenmue should be released for consoles such as the Xbox One or the Nintendo Switch. If Shenmue III is released on multiple game consoles it would increase the likelihood of the title itself being more successful in terms of sales. However, the idea of Shenmue III being only for the PS4 and Microsoft Windows could possibly add more value to the game itself.
Ever since Disgaea 5 was first released back in the Spring of 2015 many people have questioned why this title was not ported for handheld gaming devices such as the Nintendo 3DS or the PlayStation Vita. After all Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisted was released for the PlayStation Vita back in the Summer of 2014. Even though, the game did not do too well in terms of sales on the PlayStation Vita it still could have been one of those games that would make gamers want to by the handheld console itself.
In fact some might argue that if Disgaea 5 was a man exclusive title for the PlayStation Vita it would have done much better in sales than it would have on the Nintendo Switch or the PS4 which is debatable. While JRPG titles like Disgaea 5 are generally more popular on handheld consoles such as the Nintendo 3DS they also tend to well on home based game systems if they are marketed a certain way.
The sales for the Nintendo Switch has been quite impressive since its release back in the early part of March 2017. Since its release the Nintendo Switch has been surpassing game consoles such as the PS4 and Xbox One in terms of monthly sales on some occasions. In fact it has recently been announced that the Nintendo Switch has surpassed the Nintendo Switch in terms of monthly sales in July 2017.
It’s no question that the Nintendo Switch aid shaping up to be one of the best selling game systems of 2017. While the Nintendo Switch has been thriving in the gaming market the momentum that the console had gained this year going into 2018 can be affected by new developments that has appeared out of nowhere. The issues that Nintendo has with Gamevice along with the release of the Xbox One X in the Fall of 2017 might can play a sign role in whey or not the Nintendo will continue to have the upper hand in the gaming market.
As many people have recently heard Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is expected to be released exclusively for the PlayStation 4 on January 30th in 2018. The fact that Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Is going to be a PlayStation 4 exclusive is something that many people are looking forward to. However, some are questioning whether or not Dissidia Final Fantasy NT should be ported for any other game console such as the Nintendo Switch or Xbox One.
When the first Final Fantasy was released back in 2008 it was exclusively for the PSP. Since its release Final Fantasy Dissidia had managed to sell over 2 million units worldwide making it one of the most successful fighting games that Square Enix has ever produced on the PSP. Making titles like and Final Fantasy Dissidia and Dissidia Final Fantasy NT exclusive for PlayStation based consoles was probably one of the reasons why the first game was a success to begin with. Making Dissidia Final Fantasy NT available available for multiple game consoles probably would not be a good idea in the long.
When it comes down to the PlayStation Vita many people say that the handheld gaming console paled in comparison to the likes of the Nintendo 3DS and the PSP. But for some reason it seems like we don’t get the chance to see many PS4 games receive ports for the PlayStation Vita. There are games such as Overwatch, Titanfall 2, Final Fantasy XV and many others that could turn the heads of gamers and make theme want to purchase the PlayStation Vita.
Also, having video game titles such as Final Fantasy XV and Overwatch ported for the PlayStation Vita could help the sales of the console as well since Nintendo 2DS & 3DS does not have the ability to play those type of games. There should definitely be more mainstream PS4 titles that should be ported for the PlayStation Vita unless Sony decides to release a new portable game console in the future.
For over the past few years gamers has the opportunity of seeing some very cool fighting titles released for consoles such as the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4. When it comes down to fighting games between 2015-2017 two major titles that people like to mention is Tekken 7 and Street Fighter V. In terms of which game was more successful in terms of sales many people are likely to say that Tekken 7 had a significant edge over Street Fighter V in countries such Japan.
However, before Tekken 7 was first released many people knew that it was as most likely going to be the last game in the series. The fact that Tekken 7 is most likely going to be the final game in the series was probably one of the things that made people want to buy the game despite how expensive the game was during its release. When Capcom had released Street Fighter V in February 2016 the development of the game itself was not fully complete similar to how Soul Calibur V was back in February of 2012. However, after the story mode of Street Fighter V was fully complete along with the addition of more characters it turned out to be a really good game overall. In terms of which game was successful overall is something that is debatable between Capcom and Namco fans.
